影片故事从两群人讲起，一是一群学生，另外一群人则是一伙犯罪集团，他们被一只史前巨鲨围困在了一座小岛上。岛上曾一度被用于非法钻井，油井在不经意间惊醒了这头沉睡在海底的史前鲨鱼。。U.S. version of the British show 'Love Island' where a group of singles come to stay in a villa for a few weeks and have to couple up with one another.
