In the 1930s a horror-comic artist's creations come alive and kill him. Years later a new cartoonist revives the creatures in his house, now part of an artist's colony.。回到故乡，女诗人叶唤珍饱受失眠和幻觉困扰。一向坚忍而独立的她，也因周遭的隔阂与压力而不堪重负，情感濒临枯竭。当她感知到另一个孤独灵魂，她开始追溯，向过去的梦境寻求答案：一朵消失的格桑花、一个脚印、一眼枯泉……答案若不在尘世，又会在哪儿？。
