劳拉童年时在一所建立于海岸边上的孤儿院中度过了相当快乐的时光，孤儿院中的老师就像母亲一样关怀她们，小朋友们就像亲兄弟姐妹一样互相友爱。30年后，她和她的丈夫还有7岁的小儿子再次回到了这里，想要为了孩子们再次重建这所荒弃了很长时间的孤儿院。但是自从到了这里，劳拉的小儿子西蒙交了一个假象的朋友，并开始逐渐变得不对劲起来……。A psychological drama taking place during a day and a night in the life of a young family living in a beautiful house by the sea in the village of Sandur in the Faroe Islands.
