小有名气的漫画家小岛麻子（宫泽理惠 饰）殚精竭虑，终于在期限内完成了最新的连载。当她从昏睡中醒来时，却发现最爱的猫咪早已停止了呼吸。这一事件让漫画家颇受打击，她不吃不喝，恍惚憔悴，这可急坏了多年来合作默契的责任编辑大森（长冢圭史 饰）。大森好说歹说，带着小岛来到井之头公园散步，结果在那里小岛意外邂逅了一名流浪汉及其带着的一只幼猫。幼猫身体羸弱，感染病症，最终小岛带着小猫治好了身体，而流浪汉也将这个小生命托付给了爱猫的漫画家。取名“咕咕”的小家伙来到小岛的家中，温暖的故事悠然展开…… 本片根据大岛弓子的同名漫画改编，此前曾被改编成电影搬上银幕。。本剧发生在一个叫做美湖镇的小镇上，某一天突发一种神秘疾病杀死了全镇所有22岁以上的人。当政府当局隔离了整个小镇，将居民留在那里自生自灭后，小镇权力真空后的故事（大家字幕组 @翻译没存在感的人）。。‘Soo-ah’ spends hellish days everyday due to dating violence of her live-in boyfriend, ‘Hyun-woo’. ‘Anuat’, a man full of mystery, stays by the side of her.
