金锁和巧莲都是盲人，二人之前在民歌会上相识，两家定下了亲事。村里举办光明工程，从北京请来了专家给盲人免费做手术，金锁的手术成功了，但巧莲的情况不乐观，需要做角膜移植手术。金锁准备用攒下的两万八千块钱给巧莲做手术，但被二叔偷走为了救犯事的儿子。金锁把自己的角膜移植给巧莲，巧莲重见光明了。。Aspiring filmmakers Mel Funn, Marty Eggs and Dom Bell go to a financially troubled studio with an idea for a silent movie. In an effort to make the movie more marketable, they attempt to recruit a number of big name stars to appear, while the studio's creditors attempt to thwart them. The film contains only one word of dialogue, spoken by an unlikely source.。
