越野摩托车冠军莱尔正在墨西哥沙漠收获他的又一个新奖杯，但机缘巧合之下，他连同着他的摩托车被时间机器当作实验器传送回了一个世纪之前，一个藏污纳垢之所……。Birdcatcher Esmar and his wife Johanna face eviction from their farm in Gásadalur unless they have a son. Desperation sets in when Johanna gives birth to their third daughter. Pushed to the brink, Johanna is impregnated by another man, a French Captain, and gives birth to a son, known as ‘the birdcatcher’s son’.
