Narrated in first person and often asking herself difficult questions, Al-Kateab listens to the athletes who have seen their dreams vanish and accompanies them through their suffering.。女子摇滚乐队“狂花”曾在国内风靡一时，但是主唱彭莱（姚晨饰）在遭到老公和队友感情背叛后，撇下独生女白天愤而远赴美国发展。此去经年，并没有闯出什么名堂的彭莱收到了前夫去世的消息，于是启程回国寻找女儿。此时白天（庄达菲饰）已经出落成19岁的大姑娘，出于对母亲的怨恨，她对忽然归来的彭莱充满敌意，处处作对。偏偏彭莱又是个不怕事的主儿，两个女人就这样你来我往，冲突逐步升级。 许是骨子里对音乐的极致热爱，又让彭莱、白天以及她们各自的好友走到一处，为了心中音乐的梦想，决心与命运再搏一次……。
