アキヤマ香のマンガを原作とした本作のテーマは妄想×グルメ。出版社のマンガ編集部員で“コロ”と慕われる所まどかが、思いを寄せる営業部員・八角直哉に近付くべく、彼と同じものを食べて追体験するさまを描くラブコメディだ。続編では、前作で結ばれたかのように見えたコロと八角の恋の行方を、原作にはないオリジナルストーリーで描く。。The film is a dramatic re-enactment of real-life events that took place in 1968 in the small village of San Miguel Canoa in Puebla, México.
