留守儿童王安全、王安心兄妹俩和爷爷一起生活在西部的大山里，家里唯一的一头老牛是兄妹俩感情的寄托。因为爷爷答应他们等老牛产牛犊卖钱后，就让兄妹俩去看望远出打工的父母。然而，突如其来的变故，为了救治打工中意外受伤的儿子，爷爷只好无奈的将老牛卖掉。从此，不知真相的兄妹俩踏上了漫漫的寻牛路。。本劇描述居住在台灣的外籍移工故事。越南男人黎文誠為了家鄉的父母妻子，來到台灣、登上了漁船，成了台灣的漁工，狹仄的船艙裡頭還擠著另外兩個同樣來自越南的漁工阿海、昌文。文誠和阿海臭味相投，成為好友，也是受到排擠欺負時，互吐苦水的難兄難弟。。Prepare to be awed by the once-in-a-lifetime meeting experienced by a group of divers and photographers in Hawaii, who hung out near a sperm whale carcass to photograph the tiger sharks who came to feed.
