A friend tries to convince him it is his heightened sensitively as an artist that allows for the newf...。故事发生在清乾隆（张铁林 饰）时期。江湖郎中洪立（张国立 饰）因长相与乾隆十分相象，成了皇帝的替身，又因他治好了太后（严敏求 饰）多年的心口疼，太后与乾隆对他十分赏识，并让他假扮皇帝南巡私访。由于陪其私访的和珅（王刚 饰）处处打击忠臣、疯狂敛财，洪立便以皇帝的名义与其对着干。突然冒出的乾隆十大罪状传单令乾隆大怒，他下令彻查，后因意外结识印刷此传单的工匠李步韬，二人反而结成了知已。洪立因无意间发现和珅养女蜻蜓（贾静雯 饰）身世之谜，从此与和珅结下梁子。乾隆为查清地方税案，主动卧底在戏班内，历经几番斗智斗勇，终使真相大白。真假皇帝你方唱罢我登场连破奇案......。
