The Nativity is a 2010 British four-part drama television series. The series is a re-telling of the nativity and was broadcast on BBC One and BBC HD across four days, starting on 20 December 2010. It was rebroadcast in two hour-long parts on the mornings of 24 and 25 December 2011. The series stars Tatiana Maslany as Mary| Andrew Buchan as Joseph| Neil Dudgeon as Joachim| Claudie Blakley as Anna| Peter Capaldi as Balthasar and John Lynch as Gabriel.。西北大地上的祁连山脚下，牧马人高青山厮守着一群马，在草原过着天地悠悠的日子。高青山养的马是为了供给采集马血的血站使用的。春天小马降生，夏天草原留下高锦与小马的美好时光。平日里老高喜欢收集各种动物的标本，他经常行走在山间，草原的角落似乎藏着各种不明原因死亡的动物尸体。老高把它们捡回来收拾干净做成标本，有时候还会贩卖给一些游客。未曾想，正是这小小的贩卖使得他一下子陷入人生的被动之地，引来了牢狱之灾。。
