“The Afterparty” is a murder-mystery comedy set at a high school reunion afterparty. Each of the eight episodes will feature a retelling of the same night told through a different character’s perspective, each with its own unique visual format and film genre to match the teller’s personality.。女主刘芊芊（成果饰）是母胎solo的女程序员，她用代码创造了一个符合所有女生幻想的“完美男友”，而本该是游戏人物的南宫（易恒饰）却意外来到了现实生活中，以专一深情的甜蜜攻势，和芊芊开始了一段浪漫美好的跨次元恋爱故事。。“読む劇薬”と称される鬼才・野﨑まど氏による小説『バビロン』。野﨑氏の代表作である本作のアニメ化が決定し、作品をイメージした荘厳な教会に居座る謎の女のビジュアル（イラスト：原作カバー担当・ざいん）と、テーマの1つである“自殺”をフィーチャーしたプロモーションビデオが公開された。。
