1937年淞沪会战打响之际，上海的法租界依旧在炮火轰鸣声中歌舞升平。进步青年许念东来上海与他的生死之交顾立铭会合，同时在船上执行刺杀汉奸曹振武的任务。眼见刺杀成功，他们的计划却因年轻女学生林在云的意外介入被打乱，两人被裹挟进多方势力的各种角斗中，人生发生巨大转折。最后在中共党组织的正确引导下，许念东、林在云组织暴动，携带用黄金换来的军火和医药投奔新四军。。Shooters is a drama documentary film, directed by Dan Reed for Suspect Device Films. The film is set in Liverpool and used local criminals as actors depicting the lives of local 'gangsters'. It is most notable for having been completely unscripted apart from a brief outline| each scene was improvised and ad-libbed by the actors themselves.。
