Through interviews with both interracial couples and their multiracial kids (ranging in age from 7 to 16), as well as experts in the field, Bell uncovers insights about the experience and identity formation of being y...。喧嚣匆忙的都市一隅，平凡女子寺子（安藤樱 饰）终日昏睡。她从很久前就和在职场相识的岩永（井浦新 饰）交往。岩永是一名有妇之夫，他的妻子成为植物人常年卧床，女方亲属的温和让他无法抽身离去，而对爱和自由的渴望让他多年来始终与寺子维持着这样一段看不到结果的不伦之恋。交际圈极为单调的寺子此前曾有一个好友，名叫诗织（谷村美月 饰）。诗织毕业后反复寄宿在朋友家中，后来从事了一个陪伴他人睡觉的奇怪行当，而最终却不知为何自杀身亡，这让寺子百思不得其解。愧疚、尴尬、渴望、疲惫，寺子和岩永勉强维持着现在的关系，不知不觉中她在睡眠中迷失了方向…… 本片根据吉本芭娜娜于1989年发表的同名短篇小说改编。与《夜和夜的旅人》《一种体验》并称为“睡眠三部曲”。。
