The students must figure out a way to stop Cupid and undo the spell before their hearts get broken… literally.”。故事发生在大别山区的天门口镇。镇上有雪杭两大家族，但这两家却有世代冤仇。为给雪家抹黑，杭九枫（段奕宏 饰）私通雪家遭弃的儿媳阿彩（宋佳 饰），本来为寻私仇，但九枫竟被阿彩的刚烈性情所感染，两人迸发出真爱火花。不久，革命的风暴席卷而至，雪家日渐衰败，阿彩与九枫双双参加了红军，但此时的阿彩却拒绝了九枫，因几代的世仇恩怨还一时不能从阿彩脑海中完全抹去。连年的战争让他们历经了无数生死的考验，战火硝烟中，他们时有聚散，但都不提那件心知肚明的往事，只是内心默默守望着。一晃全国解放了，阿彩独自去了省城，九枫留在了镇上，因为这里有那些长眠于地下的战友们......。
