本片讲述了一个科幻悬疑的故事：翼生与林溪为查明校花消失的真相，被牵扯进一个巨大的科技阴谋中，一切都源自叶芊和翼教授在科学实验中的矛盾分歧，叶芊认为长久的实验研究得出了成果就应该公之于众，用于临床，为了科学的进步所有的牺牲都是值得的；而翼教授认为，再伟大的科学成果，如果他违背人性都应该立刻制止。。本剧主要讲述了在世纪之交的年代，在宁夏川州 ，一批不同背景、身份和地位的人们来到这里， 准备向恶劣的地理环境挑战，带领该地区的人们脱贫致富的故事。。Soft boys by day, kings by night: That’s how the young Bulgarian Roma are when they come to Vienna looking for freedom and a quick buck.
