Somewhere in Myanmar is a forest rich in amber and controlled by the Kachin Independence Army (KIA). Most of its inhabitants work in a mine, digging the earth night and days in the hope of finding the precious ore that will get them out of poverty. But on top of the excruciating hardship of the work, they also have to fear an attack from the army.。本作は佐々涼子が第10回開高健ノンフィクション賞を受賞した「エンジェルフライト 国際霊柩送還士」をもとにしたヒューマンドラマ。古沢良太や香坂隆史が脚本を手がけ、国境を越えて遺体を家族のもとへ送り届ける国際霊柩送還士の姿が描かれる。。
