Link starts behaving more and more aggressive and prohibits Jane from using the...。故事发生在1942年的河南，时值饥荒最严重的年代，年幼的郝玉兰（陈小艺 饰）跟随着父亲加入了逃荒的队伍之中，流落到西安小东门。尽管不至于饿死，但那里的日子依旧十分艰难，无奈之下，郝玉兰嫁给了名为白老四（倪大红 饰）的男人。白老四不仅年龄上比郝玉兰大了二十岁，还带着两个儿子，就这样，郝玉兰还未经历过爱情，便已经成为人妇。 尽管现实充满了绝望，但郝玉兰从未放弃过希望和梦想，她替白老四生了五个孩子，靠着伟大的母爱和坚韧的毅力将孩子们拉扯长大。遗憾的是，孩子们并不能理解郝玉兰为他们的付出，家庭之中大大下下的问题和麻烦接连不断，挑战着郝玉兰脆弱的内心。。
