Bandits led by Matt the Mute enter a bar and kill multiple people. Randy Bowers comes to town and is framed by Matt the Mute, who is working with the sheriff, who doesn't know that Matt is really a criminal. Matt the Mute writes out everything he wants to say. Randy escapes with the help of Sally Rogers, the niece of the dead owner of the bar. Bowers runs from the sheriff, and ends up in the cave in which the bandits have their hideout. They kidnap Sally, who escapes with the help of Bowers. Matt the Mute is killed when he enters the bar, which is filled with explosives, and the niece marries Randy.。剛入讀高中的女生小娜，開學首天即邂逅同校高中三年級的麥。麥被小娜深深吸引，主動對這位新生處處幫忙，更經常義務替她補習。小娜被麥的熱情打動，兩人譜出一段青春戀曲，在校園內引來不少羨慕目光。然而，麥出身豪門，他的母親對來自鄉村的小娜極之嫌棄。為了令兩人分手，她不惜把麥送往外地留學。此時，小娜發現自己懷有身孕，徬徨之際，竟在母親的勸誘下往墮胎，更在手術中意外死亡！自此，她居住的大樓頻頻鬧鬼，直至麥回來找她……。众人眼中的可爱少女小美突然人间蒸发。与她生命轨迹交集过的九个人物，透过访谈与回忆，逐渐拼凑出小美的生命轮廓。房东、前男友、美容公司老板、母亲各自搓揉记忆，黏合出一尊模模糊糊的人物塑像。害羞不安的吸毒少女倏忽往来过去与现在，如今肉身何处、灵魂何在，却没一个人能说得准。导演黄荣昇首部长片即入围柏林影展面面观单元，金马奖最佳导演锺孟宏担任监製兼亲自操刀摄影，《大佛普拉斯》（2017）导演黄信尧献声旁白加持，把悬疑神秘与黑色迷幻共冶一炉。在熹微暗晦的光影中，一个依稀身影，流离于冷漠的台北街角，孤寂苍凉。。
