九十年代初，北京亚运会前夕。学杂技的金宝光（张京 饰）发现爷爷（李纬 饰）给驯兽厅带来一只5岁大的猩猩山山。他与妈妈进厅观看，不料发怒的山山抓伤了妈妈。被采取强制措施的山山发出惨吼，韦光赶来对山山进行安慰，通人性的山山很快平静下来。爷爷的师弟张铁汉（冯奇 饰）从台湾赶来，由于师弟没有子嗣，爷爷将长子炳辉（张驯导 饰）过继给他。宝光携铁汉孙女雪凤（刘姣姣 饰）一同到饲养室看山山，家中大人们见山山和孩子们相处和睦，便将山山带回家中驯养。铁汉欲将雪凤留在金家独自返台，此时金家无意中得知雪凤的父母遇车祸双双身亡，不仅大放悲声，决意留铁汉不要离开......。The Delinquent Season is a tense drama which revolves around two couples in suburban Dublin. Although all seems fine on the surface, cracks in both relationships come to light when, one night at dinner, Chris lashes out at his wife, Yvonne. The film explores both love and loss and ultimately asks the question, How well can any of us really know each other?。
