CMFU是中国最神奇大学，在CMFU学院的太极系因多年的派系之争而逐渐没落。热爱太极文化的风飘飘（女主）立志报考太极系，却因卫楚（男主）错过了考试，勉强进入文学院的书画系学习。在卫楚和风飘飘的努力下，太极系一步一步走向复兴，吸引了越来越多的学生加入。风飘飘和卫楚这对欢喜冤家，也从相看两厌发展到彼此欣赏。。电影《那狗》讲述了一个从抗战时期走过来的老人乃狗，看到村民们为了生存和更好的生活都远赴他乡务工使得土地荒芜后，痛心疾首。老人不忍看到先辈们用鲜血和生命换来的成果就此荒废，老人决定去外地，劝说村民回乡发展。。Four intersecting tales shed light on the difficult lives of suburbanites.
