传说忘川河上开满了彼岸花，但因为一场灾祸，河水上涨万物凋零、怨气丛生。冥府摆渡使曼殊乃是枯萎之命，无情无爱。一天曼殊在灵池沐浴时突然天上掉下来个小草仙名唤沙华。曼殊在与沙华相处期间发现自己感受到了从未有过的温暖。时隔千年曼殊第一次有了温度，奈何孽缘被孟婆发现，曼殊为了与沙华长相思守不惜忍受酷刑、散尽修为，到头来却被心爱之人利用。魔头永夜趁机倒灌忘川河水摧毁冥府，沙华最后关头幡然醒悟借忘川河水吞噬魔头永夜。三百年后，沙华留在冥府忘川河畔苦等曼殊归来……。The story begins in today Istanbul, when a woman called Işık (Bade İşçil) arrives at an old house. There she recalls the past and friends of her youth.
