吕良伟与李修贤在片中均为中越混血儿，由越南逃至澳门；吕于香港出生，可在港居留，乃与李分散；郑则仕饰吕之叔父，为一干练警探，即介绍吕加入警界，派其作卧底。后郑一次与越南匪徒激斗中遭杀害；而李则被牵涉入这宗凶案……。本片探讨七个大学室友从1960年代起的成长经历。大学毕业後，大家各奔前程，有的成为企业巨子，有的成为八卦报新闻记者，有人成为电视台星探、有的成为药商、有的则当了医生、有的成为律师、也有人成为家庭主妇。这次，在一个朋友的葬礼上，他们再次聚首，重新审视自己的人生。（via 人人影视）。Young lovers, Max and lime dream to live life together, but there comes a war, and everything that seemed inviolable — their feelings and plans falling apart like a house of cards.
