《跟我回家》由一方小小四合院里门氏一家的普通生活展开，“真假孙子”事件的爆发打破了四合院表面的平静，门家五口的个性也鲜明的展现开来。儿媳妇刘慧（黄曼饰）因为自尊心带着儿子离家出走住进了丈夫门家祥（辛柏青饰）的好哥们儿童华顺 （傅迦饰）家。童华顺一面陶醉在喜迎女神降临的喜悦中，一方面却也真的为这对好友夫妇着急操心。而正当此时，一笔巨款让他这个草根小男人一秒变钻石王老五，童华顺也因此与门家发生了更复杂纠结的情感关系和经济矛盾。。A film version of a play Fassbinder directed in Hamburg, Clare Booth Luce's "The Women".
