(Strugatsky Brothers website) NOTES This is a crime / mystery thriller with surreal and psychedelic science fiction overtones based on a book Inspector Glebsky's Puzzle by the Strugatsky brothers. The screenplay was also written by the brothers and it differs from the book. The less you know about the movie the better starting point you have. The film is based largely on the mystery of what's happening to the people of Dead Mountaineer's Hotel. Is everything what it seems? Who's dead or who's not?。沈南烟在一次帮客户抓出轨的巧合下，结识宛城富豪顾总。顾总为躲避相亲雇佣沈南烟扮演自己的妻子。。起重机轰鸣声中，一辆锈迹斑斑的出租车从河中吊出，一具裹着白布的尸体被人从车厢里抬出。警方在车的后备箱中还发现了另一具被泡成蜡黄色的尸体。这正是两个月前，出租车司机杀人绑架案中失踪的凶手与人质。案件疑点重重，而事件的重要证人林超凡即将带着妻子移民海外。为了找出实情，一位行事乖张的女刑警韩烨粗暴地闯入林超凡的生活，展开了对案情的再次问询。随着林超凡的证词被韩烨推翻，案情不断发生逆转，然而，更大的迷局却悄然展开……。
