三个年轻水手——盖比（金·凯利 饰）、奇普（Frank Sinatra 饰）和奥兹（Jules Munshin 饰）要在纽约度过一天假期，他们决定好好享受这座大城市，最好能遇到爱情！盖比在地铁上对海报里的“月度女孩”一见钟情，决定不惜一切代价找到她然后表白；三人在搭计程车时，奇普被女司机一眼相中，不由分说带着他回家共度春宵，奥兹遇到一位人类学家女博士，觉得他看起来是标准的“史前人”，因此欣喜地爱上了他。三个好友各有境遇，其中数盖比寻找“月度女孩”最为艰难曲折。载歌载舞之间，24小时假期显得那么短暂……。Ok, folks, this is my last Ishii upload. Totsugeki! Hakata gurentai is his first feature and last 8mm film. Haven't watched it yet myself, but from the looks of it, this is very much reminescent of eighties and nineties v-cinema, sort of like early Miike (only made in 1978). There is considerably more dialogue than in his earlier films, but it doesn't seem too complicated plotw...。
