Joe is an Alien on Earth. At least that is what his father told him before he died when Joe was eleven. He finds it difficult to adjust, and to find a compatible girl friend。吉多彼得出生于1959年，十多岁就读寄宿学校时开始吸毒贩毒，常年出入警局。20岁时，彼得试图逃离警局时，从8米高的围墙跳下摔断了腿，成了瘸子……。电影《王家坝》以2003年淮河流域人们抗洪救灾为背景，用电影的表现手法为观众真实讲述了沿淮地区人们的艰苦蓄洪历程。电影主要围绕着淮河蒙洼地区人们在自然灾害面前的团结一致、舍己为国的精神。。
