This is the second film about the detective Feluda (Soumitra Chatterjee) set in the holy city of Benares, where he (along with his cousin, Topshe and friend, Lalmohan Ganguly) goes for a holiday. But the theft of a priceless deity of Lord Ganesh (the Elephant God) from a local household forces him to start investigation. Feluda comes in direct confrontation with Maganlal Meghra...。H是一位逃跑一年多的印尼籍外勞，喜歡流浪的他在僱主的農地附近搭了一座工寮，同時收留著一位從金屬加工廠跑出來，後來又在茶園差點被員警抓到的朋友R，R暫時都住在工寮不敢出門。今晚H接到了朋友T的電話，從水果工廠跑出來的她要帶著從汽車零件廠跑出來的B一起過來。也是這一晚，從僱主家跑出來的幫傭E，還有從螺絲工廠跑出來的D陸續到訪，原來H的工寮已經傳開了⋯。。
