林清月作为急诊科医生，在一次手术间隙接到丈夫傅明宇“航班取消”的电话，却不知他正与弟媳杨珊在酒店厮混。傅明宇因服用过期药物昏迷被送医，林清月发现真相后心碎。随后她得知流产是傅、杨二人所害，于是她在杨珊与傅明宇弟弟傅阳的婚礼上揭露丑闻。。“Praise be to the cinema: the law is not said, it is seen and heard. A story is born and given to us. This is how, through an image, life is resuscitated”. (Jean-Luc Godard, 1985)。
